During this years E3 Summit in Los Angeles, gaming newsblog Kotaku had the chance to talk to Sega of America president Simon Jeffery. Asking the question that Shenmue fans have been demanding an answer to - Is Sega ever going to release Shenmue III?...
SEGA have in the past been quick to push the question asides with "No Comment" and "Ask that guy" while pointing in a different direction and legging it. Finally have given us an answer. Comments (5)

He just said right now to keep us interested in Sega. since the fall of the dreamcast Sega has shown no support for shenmue 3 they dont even have it on there website. The only way we are going to get this now is if some one buys the games IP.

Lol i agree with you, but thats how they started off making kiddy games, and because of the struggles they had they have gone back to making kiddy games, but what they forgot is that we have grown up and all the new generation of kids are into HALO or horror games what ever the point is that times have changed!! and they should get with the new program they were doing well.

It's okay for kiddies but we are a far more mature audience they have neglected for too long. Why do we keep waiting for Sega when it's clear their lack of interest for Shenmue?
